I use Microsoft WORD to make a web page (simple ones I admit - but how complicated is a recipe to type?) You can format backgrounds, add hyperlinks etc. Then I use an HTML editor to tweak anything I need to.
However, when it comes to downloading recipes, I suggest saving them as RTF file from Word - rather than as DOC files. Not all versions of Word or other word processors can open recent versions of word docs. Also, RTF files are more or less universal. Otherwise, save as Word 2 docs so that people with Office 97, Office 95 etc can still open them. RTF files are opened in Office, Amipro, Works, etc etc |
