I've heard back from Lycos and it appears they are testing various ways of displaying the adverts they need to keep the free service viable.
They have not given any timelines and I know some pages, including mine, do not look very good at the moment but unless the adverts are really bothering you I wouldn't make any changes just yet. Some sites may need to eventually alter their layouts but Lycos are trying to find a good solution for everybody. Ray |
