At the moment know one knows. Lycos were never very communicative and even the superusers haven'y heard anything since the hosting service was saved.
The running of Tripod may have been taken over by a French company named Multimania - see http://www.paidcontent.co.uk/entry/419-lycos-europe-finds-a-tripod-buyer-three-days-before-shutdown/ but there has been no offical news yet. At the mement what I suggest you do is ensure you have backup copies of all your site files - just in case we all need to start looking for a new host. Ray |
