Helen, your files were uploaded and they are on the server.

When you start a webpage the software looks for a default file to display first. On Lycos and most other hosts using Apache web server software, that default file is named index.html

Because you have not got a file named index.html then all people see when they go to your site is a directory listing - which is how I know your files are on the server.

Also, you uploaded your images to a directory named "Pictures" but the links to all your images in the HTML files point to a directory named "Pictures and Buttons".

You need to either rename all your links - a utility like BK ReplaceEm - http://www.orbit.org/replace/ - is able to do remake all the links in all your files in seconds or you need to make a new directory named "Pictures and Buttons" and move all your images into that.

For more information that may be able to help you see http://members.lycos.co.uk/brisray/comp/cwbasics1.htm or http://brisray.com/comp/cwbasics1.htm

Ray
