I would really appreciate some help as I have spent hours and hours trying to get this to work.
I am using Cute Site Builder 3.00 software for my websites; I upload via FTP included in the software - I have all the details entered correctly in the software - website address, ftp host address, ftp user name and ftp password. I have had this done for some years and all has worked fine. This weekend and today I have been trying to do some updates - I connect to internet [incidentally I have dial up only at present], and get half way through the upload when I get an error saying that there is no connection to the site, but I am still actually connected to the internet, so I cannot understand this!
I have tried this several times, and when I view the website online later at each page where my upload has been interrupted there is a blank page, although nothing else has updated as it has to be cancelled as pressing 'retry' doesn't work.
Can somebody tell me if I am doing something wrong, if there is a bug on the hosting site or is there something I'm missing? I'm getting really frustrated spending hours on this when normally it's just a question of connecting and leaving it to upload whilst I get on with something else.
Would appreciate help especially in non tech language!
T.I.A. Sandra [currently tearing my hear out]
