We've got four machines we use full time at home. The web server, my desktop, and 2 laptops. All of them have between 2 and 4Gb of RAM.
You will definately notice an impprovement in performance when you upgade from 512Mb. Obviously I use US companies when I buy mine, but people like http://www.novatech.co.uk seem pretty reasonable. Ray |
