PHPBB v3 will not work on Lycos / Tripod accounts, but version 2.0.23 (the latest 2.x version) will.
Lycos are not planning to allow installation of PHPBB v3 yet. allow_url_fopen is off in the main PHP configuration. You cannot change this. For Lycos PHP configuration see http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/build/php4u/conf/ and http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/build/php4u/phpinfo.phtml Ray |
