There might be a couple of ways to do this. It may mean having two accounts with Lycos for a short time, which is against their rules but it will only be until you get the files transferred. I really don't know if you can actually open more than one site at a time, but other people here write things like "one of my accounts has stopped working..." so I suppose you can.
1) Go ahead and open a new account and use SiteCatcher - http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/build/sitecatcher/ - to transfer the files from the old account from the new. Once you've transferred the files log into your account and delete the old account. If that doesn't work, post in the Help forum that you want the old account closed. The moderator doesn't appear often and it seems they only do anything in the Help forum. 2) In your browser save each page to your computer. In IE 7 it's under Page > Save As... > WebPage complete... this will try and save everything including images. Delete your old account. Open your new account and upload the files to that. 3) Find something called an offline browser - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=offline+browser&btnG=Google+Search This will try and save your entire site. Be careful with the settings as these things sometimes go wild and try and download half the internet to your hard drive. As before, delete your old account. Open your new account and upload the files. As your old site looks like it was written with WebBuilder it might be that you will no longer be able to edit your files using it. Ray |
